You are invited to come in and tour the building to see the many options we have available.  We love to host weddings, showers, workshops, birthdays, and many other events.  Our personalized service will make you and your guests feel right at home here and that’s what we want – for you to feel welcome and cared for during your special event!

The Community Center at Chatham

features a wireless environment throughout the building, is handicap accessible and includes computer controlled utilities for state of the art energy efficiency. Security cameras throughout the building ensure the safety of Center patrons and their guests.

The Grand Hall
has 2,520 square feet of space. It can seat approximately 175 people theater style and just under 100 at tables. The reception desk can be set up for buffet service, upholstered seating for informal gathering, and table games for recreation.

The Gallery
is just over 1,400 square feet. It includes seating for 60,  cabinetry and sink for small scale beverage service for meetings, room darkening shades for presentations, and is fully equipped to meet various multi-media needs including a 9-foot retractable overhead screen, CD, DVD, computer, sound system, phone and projectable Internet access. A custom display system mounted around the walls will exhibit local art.

The Art Studio

offers the ideal setting for creativity, including built in storage for art materials, tiled floor for messy projects, art tables, computer workstation with graphic software, easels, supplies, etc. This is also a great room for small group, informal meetings, but is not available to rent individually except during normal operating hours.

The Media Center

will serve as a place for visitors to watch television, listen to music, and play video games. It includes a 42 inch wall mounted flat screen TV, 2 smaller flat screens for gaming systems like Playstation 3, and X box 360.

The Computer Lab

includes 10 workstations for homework and fun, computer classes, etc. all networked for security and control mechanisms for appropriate use. Public use of the Lab computers can be arranged through the Directors office.

The Gymnasium

The gym seats 450 people theater style and up to 320 at 40 tables of 8. The room makes an ideal setting for larger groups

Our gym is a full size basketball court which includes a rubberized floor, bleacher seating for 100, electric retractable regulation height goals, regulation score boards, shot clocks, adjustable height portable goals for smaller players, padded walls with tumbling mats which can also be removed for floor use, indoor volleyball system built into the floor.

Our restaurant style kitchen is equipped with commercial grade equipment and should contain most everything that your caterer will need.  We have dishes, glassware and silverware for up to 320, but do not provide linens.
